Hi there, I’m Danny!

I have been doing some form of user experience design for more than ten years!

I really enjoy working in fast-moving team environments where there are a lot of people as passionate about the product as I am.

I feel that focusing on the customer isn’t something only the designer should care about and work to educate those around me on the customer’s needs and issues.

When there is a challenge I always do my best to meet it. To make sure products roll out and are valuable to my users I have turned into a front-end developer, an e-commerce marketer, a t-shirt artist and even a network engineer. I thrive off variety. I am unafraid to try new things and am always pushing myself to learn and change!

My Design Philosophy

I never want to be a design dictator. I work with my teams to help everybody understand who the customer is, what they need and work together to figure out solutions to help them.

As much as I am interested in how design has an impact anthropologically and sociologically on users. It’s important to me that my solutions are appreciably better than what was there before and make a positive difference in people’s lives.

I regrettably don’t have any pictures of myself staring longingly at a user journey pinned up on a wall with sticky notes, so I have to settle for this picture of myself hiking.
